元福教會是強調「愛家的教會」。這個教會理念是從聖經真理中建立，自上帝造人開始，神賜人有一個家庭。因為人類的敗壞，有些人生下來遭遺棄，失去父母和家庭，十分無奈。人的成長以家為基礎，安身立命離不了家庭。不論人的身心、思想、靈性的發展，和人的關係建立，都是受家庭的影響，或是從家中學習得來的。家庭對人是何等的重要。
元福教會強調家庭重要性，「家」是信徒學習成長的第一個功課，也是事奉學習的第一個場所。因為家庭是由上帝設立，有其屬靈的原則和生活模式，鼓勵實踐屬靈的家庭文化，在今天只講感覺而不重視責任，離婚率又高的時代更為重要。
