院舍簡介及宗旨
佛教般若安老院乃一所非牟利自負盈 虧安老院,籌辦於一九五三年,創院人宏 賢老法師暨般若精舍同人,本著佛教慈悲 的宗旨,發願興辦安老院,安頓年老,流 離無依的老人。本院於一九五五年九月四 日正式落成啟用。佛教般若安老院成為香 港佛教第一間安老院,開香港佛教安老服 務的先河。
