The Cecilian Singers was founded in 1962 and it is one of Hong Kong’s oldest running mixed choirs. We sing a wide-ranging repertoire from madrigals to world music; by composers ancient and modern, both a capella and accompanied. Our programmes reflect our love of choral diversity and it is something we are known for. The choir’s original aim was to promote European choral music with a repertoire spanning at least five centuries. It started out predominantly as an a cappella group, performing both sacred and secular music. Over the years, the choir has also sung some larger works by composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and Handel, often with a small orchestra and soloists.

The principal activities of the organisation is to promote and disseminate and spread the Gospel of Christ and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church through voluntary work for charity

香港普明佛學會 乃 由已故 果通法師 及一群 有志為 佛教 服務 的青年 成立於 一九八一年。 現 為一 香港政府 註冊非牟利 慈善團體。 本會名稱 是取自《法華經》觀世音菩薩 普門品 的 「慧日破諸闇， 普明照世間」 一句的「普明」兩字， 意即「佛法普遍照耀世間」的意思。 本會 成立 的宗旨， 是 以理 入手， 把 正確的 佛教 義理 介紹 給 大眾， 從而 使 人們 真正 了解 佛法 及 消除 對 佛教 的誤解。 並 積極 實踐 釋迦牟尼佛 平等 利生 的 精神， 服務 社群， 以 建立 「人間佛教」 為 目標。 期望 將 佛教 積極 入世 的 一面 實踐 於 生活 中。 香港普明佛學會 的前身 是 教觀學會， 乃由 一群 佛教 青年 於 一九七八年 成立， 並 邀請 羅漢寺 督監 果通 法師 為 顧問， 教觀 學會 於 一九八零年 解散， 接著 籌辦 香港普明佛學會， 一九八一年 三月 成為 合法 團體。 由於 會務 不斷 發展， 因應 需求， 學會 於 一九八五年 轉為 註冊 有限公司， 於 一九八七年 三月， 更獲 政府 批准 為 註冊 免稅 慈善 團體。

明珠佛學社創辦於 1966 年，由明慧法師及一群弟子所建立，以宏揚原始佛教教義為宗旨。本社於 1968 年開辦夜間佛學進修班，1972 年正式開辦佛學初階班，為本港最早開辦佛學課程的佛學團體之一。四十多年來，本社開設佛學課程不輟，除固定周日上午的佛學初階班、佛學中級班、經論研習班之外，更不定期舉辦各類專題講座，禮請不同界域專業人士蒞臨主講。 明珠佛學社除設立佛學班以宏揚佛教教理之外，亦曾經與香港佛教聯合會合辦「佛教明珠學校」以推行小學教育；本社也曾提供多年的「中醫贈診」服務。此外，更出版「明珠佛學社佛學叢書」，其中包括《般若波羅蜜多心經釋義》、《金剛經發微》、《中觀論頌選釋》、《般若心經對破讀》、《維摩經句解釋義》、《明珠佛學初階》、《心經透網》及《大嶼山誌》等。此等書籍可於本港佛教書局及各大書局選購。 本社另更印製有《明慧法師墨寶紀念集》、《書墨因緣四十年》、《明珠佛學社四十周年紀念》、《向於捨》等紀念集及書籍，免費與各界人士結緣。

BTP was founded in 2009 and affiliated to the "student institution incubation program" of the University of Hong Kong. Since its establishment, BTP has carried out six independent volunteer projects -- Go2Africa, Hello Neverland, SinCere, Home Kong, Into Miracle, Yonder Narnia and SAGA. BTP has made outstanding achievements in six long-term volunteer projects. For example, the Africa team was received by the vice president of Ghana; the Hainan and Sichuan project made the headlines of the local media; BTP was also selected to become a member of the "student institution incubation program" by the University of Hong Kong. Moreover, all projects are supported by the service 100 fund of HKU. Mission & Values 1. We hope to change the world with volunteer spirit through practical actions. 2. Bethune House is an agent for changing lives. We have pioneered the shelter services for migrant women workers, as well as a holistic approach in enabling them to become empowered. We create and implement programs to support their welfare when they are distressed, as well as support their psycho-social welfare and foster a sense of community. Unlike other shelters, we provide more than temporary shelter and provisions. We provide case and medical support, as well as education and training for skills improvement, and advocacy. We are concerned with the totality of the person’s welfare. This already distinguishes us from the rest.

Bethel Mission of China

Bethel Mission of China was founded in 1920 by Shi Meiyu and Jennie V. Hughes. In the past century, Bethel Mission of China, adhering to its founding purpose, preached the gospel and created God's workers. Through missionary work, theological education, primary and secondary schools and early childhood education, medical care, charity, publishing, and herding believers, it served those in need and made people become God's children. Through the establishment of education, including primary schools, secondary schools and nursing schools, Bethel Mission of China cultivates students and nurses to understand the truth, establish a sound personality, develop their potential, base themselves on the society and contribute to the community. With God's help, there are many church leaders and influential social sages who love God and love others among Bethel's alumni. It has always been Bertel's tradition to preach the gospel through social services and education. Bethel Bible Seminary trains dedicated Christians, imparts biblical and theological knowledge, attaches importance to spiritual and psychological training, and equips God students to spread the gospel, cultivate and care for believers, and pastor the church; to enable them to have professional ability, play a greater role in pastoral ministry, and also provide opportunities for current preachers to learn. Bethel Bible Seminary has promoted the popularization of theological education, so that more believers who are willing to serve have the opportunity to get equipped. In today's society, family and marriage problems are serious. Bethel Pastoral Counseling Center provides appropriate counseling services to help individuals or families in need. Bethel Bible Seminary also provides clinical pastoral courses to train the pastors to preach in hospitals through caring for patients. In addition to cultivating missionaries to pastor believers in the church, Bethel Bible Seminary also provides leader training for believers. Ray Bakke Center for Urban Transformation provides contextualized and Christian based education, creatively conveys urban education messages, and cultivates and equips believer leaders. Bethel High School still adheres to the spirit of Christian education. Through the evangelical work of students, students can know the truth and be determined to believe in God. The churches under Bethel Mission of China (Hong Kong) are responsible for teaching the Bible and herding believers, making salt and light in the community, and reaching out to the community through community service to spread the gospel. In terms of missionary work, seminaries and churches also participate in missionary work in different forms, including the same culture or cross culture, local, mainland and overseas.

Bernard Van Zuiden Music Fund, The

The Bernard van Zuiden Music Fund aims to provide financial aid for young Chinese music talent from Hong Kong to pursue musical training abroad. Recipients are expected to return to Hong Kong upon finishing their studies and to contribute their talent to the Hong Kong music field. The fund was established in 1983 under a generous donation from Mr Bernard van Zuiden, a late Hong Kong resident and businessman who was very active in the Dutch community. The Trustees of the Fund are the Hong Kong Philharmonic Society Limited and HSBC Trustee (Hong Kong) Limited. Over the last 37 years, the Fund has supported many emerging local musicians. Most of them are now part of the Hong Kong music scene, and some are currently full-time HK Phil musicians.

The object of the Scholarship is to encourage candidates of the highest calibre, who are not, and have not at any time been, qualified for practice as a legal practitioner (of whatever description) in any jurisdiction (including Hong Kong), and who are permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to join the Bar by providing them with financial incentive and/or assistance during pupillage.
