YMCA is a world Christian movement, with the Paris Basis as its mission: “The Young Men’s Christian Associations seek to unite those young men who, regarding Jesus Christ as their God and Saviour, according to the Holy Scriptures, desire to be His disciples in their faith and in their life, and to associate their efforts for the extension of His Kingdom amongst young men.” Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong is a Christian service organisation based in Hong Kong as part of the global YMCA movement. The Association is committed to building a civil and compassionate Hong Kong through uniting people with the same spirit to extend the Kingdom of God; fostering youth leadership to shoulder social responsibility with keen concern for the motherland and the world; and promoting multiple service programmes based on wholistic personal growth, commitment to the underprivileged and reconciliation extending from self to society.

金巴崙長老會源於美國長老會，於十八世紀末在美國一連串的復興運動中，在金巴崙郡的長老會經歷聖靈工作，教會復興、人數增長。因著按牧與教義上的意見與總會不協調下，於一八二九年正式成立金巴崙長老會。本會來華傳道早於十八世紀末開始，在湖南省藉著醫療、教育、佈道三方面作宣教工作。後來得以在中國華南區發揚光大、擴展神國，是源於一個黃金夢！

本堂簡史 一位美國萬國浸信會牧師，於六十年代來香港宣教，租用尖沙咀香港青年會 禮堂作聚會。 之後該牧師再到別的地區宣教，本地的聚會交由弟兄姊妹和一些神學生負責 這個雛形教會。 七六年禮堂租金提升，我們無力担付，考慮解散肢體，讓各自找尋合適教會 聚會。但上帝奇妙引導給一個地方(九龍城侯王道57號二樓)，可以租借在禮 拜日作崇拜之用，其餘日子不能租用，所以團契聚會還是無定向，然而上帝 總有預備及時供應團契聚會地點。 經過一輪漂流、分散式日子，於七七年四月上帝允許我們自置堂址(紅磡馬頭 圍道107號五樓)，約七百呎地方，所有聚會歸回一起，自始弟兄姊妹有了自 己屬靈的家，可以自由運用和發展。 一九八二年正式註冊為 [香港萬國浸信會] 至八五年三月我們又經歷上帝的引導和供應，購買了實用面積約一千七百呎的 地方直到如今。就是 紅磡 差館里41-43號 美安樓 二樓。本堂為獨立堂會，暫 未設有分堂。

The Hong Kong Laureate Forum (the Forum) aspires to be a world-class academic exchange event to connect the current and next generations of leaders in scientific pursuit, as well as to promote understanding and interests of the young generation in Hong Kong and around the world in various disciplines in science and technology. Mission - To foster the exchanges among scientists of different generations, cultures and disciplines; - To support youth development in Hong Kong and the international community through facilitating networking among young scientists from different parts of the world; - To promote understanding and interests of the young generation in Hong Kong in various disciplines in science and technology; and - To cooperate with and involve different sectors of the community in promoting education and exchanges in various disciplines in science and technology in Hong Kong.

Community Chest of Hong Kong, The

The Community Chest now supports over 150 member social welfare agencies to provide services in six areas including Children & Youth, Family & Child Welfare, Elderly, Medical & Health, Rehabilitation & Aftercare and Community Development & Others, and benefits over 2.1 million needy in Hong Kong every year. The Chest’s administrative costs come from a subsidized grant from The Hong Kong Jockey Club, in addition to income from investments. This allows the Chest to allocate 100% of funds raised to charitable use; this operations model makes the Chest unique among its peers, and helps fulfil its mission to act as trustee of the donors.
