Hong Yip’s mission is to fulfill the work of caring for and assisting with the career development of people with disabilities, facilitate them to utilize their abilities and become more confident of themselves, and contribute to the creation of an inclusive society through commercial or business operations

In many cases art and culture have proved to be an effective means to foster respect and understanding and promote social harmony. They can provide an open space and platform for for expression and discussion about difficult social, historic, and ethnic issues. Since its inception in 2007, Lumenvisum has successfully demonstrated how photography as an independent form of artistic expression can also play a vital role in social development, in enhancing dialogue and bridge-building through our multifarious art education and community art programmes. In "Dong Jia II" (2009), a project collaborated with Arts Promotion Office, HKSAR Government, we have seen how ordinary Hong Kong people view Hong Kong as their "homes" and the visions they have for the city. In "Tou Dei Gung Gung" (2011), we have led workshop members to approach the issues of public space in the city through their lenses. "Whispering from the South" (2012) in collaboration with the social services agency Christian Action reflects the lives of South Asian minorities in Hong Kong, as an attempt to bridge mutual understandings between the mainstream Chinese community and the minority groups. The on-going Kwun Tong Yue Man Square Redevelopment Documentation is an ambitious project which set out to document the urban renewal process of Yue Man Square of Kwun Tong, one of the oldest, most populated areas in the city in a twelve-year timeframe. Now in its eighth phase, the project continues to evolve and meet new challenges. The 3-year "18x24: Photo Adventure in Hong Kong" project strategically targets the youth and the elderly, encompassing extensive workshops and photo shooting and sharing activities all around the 18 districts in Hong Kong. From the resulting image archive of over 2000 images that the participants collaboratively built, we are able to appreciate how photography is ultimately not about presenting skills but personal feelings and perspectives, and how we can enrich our life through image-making. The project has been well received by the general public and well recognised within the art community, having received the Award for Arts Education (non-school division), HKADC Arts Awards 2014.

GX Foundation is a non-profit charitable Chinese organization established in Hong Kong. It aims to provide international medical and public health humanitarian assistance in the Belt and Road countries. The name GX is derived from the Chinese word “ 共享 ”, pronounced “Gong Xiang”, meaning “sharing”. It is a response to the call for “people to people” connectivity under the Belt and Road Initiative for International Cooperation. Our foundation leverages on international experiences and cooperation to build comprehensive programmes promoting health, well-being and sustainable livelihood globally. In cooperation with local stakeholders, our projects deliver impactful interventions to address unmet humanitarian health needs in the Belt and Road countries.

Following after Dr. Gail Law’s footsteps, E-Tendance takes up a new paradigm in intercultural ministry which is backed by a blessing motif for the Creative Access Districts where overt preaching is unwelcome prohibited, or even deemed illegal. To overcome the restriction and cultural barrier, we have to employ creative means to approach the unreached people groups. Christ’s love is indispensable in whatever approach to serve the unengaged people in the light of biblical teaching. Based on the doctrine of man and the theology of blessing, our ministry is developed in the following aspects: 1. Creative Access Fieldwork: We support the fieldwork in Creative Access Districts. We further develop relevant theology, knowledge, skillset, and training materials for intercultural workers and volunteers. The ultimate goal of cross cultural ministry is to build up the indigenous followers with the competence of self-governance, self-support, self-propagating, and self-theologizing. 2. Missional Church: We mobilize faith communities to actively take part in blessing all nations. In the New Testament, each disciple plays either the role of (a) sending workers out or (b) being sent to the field for taking the whole gospel to the whole world. 3. Seminary: We share the theology of blessing to equip the next generation of intercultural workers. 4. Faith Organizations: We form a strategic network with like-minded organizations and promote exchanges among partners to facilitate the advancement through a collaborative effort.

The inspiration for the foundation is derived from Founding President, Dr William CG Ko who devotes his lifetime service to Hong Kong’s water supplies, in improving the quality and quantity of water supply from the East River. He participated in all the 4 stages of improvement in the East River water supply. As an engineer helping Assistant Director (AD) Lau in Stage I, as a senior engineer helping AD Leung in Stage II, as the AD himself in Stage III and as the Director of Water Supplies in Stage IV. He has thus been called “Father of East River Supply to Hong Kong”. We are an advocate for sustainable business solutions and a platform for exploring the latest development and best practices of low carbon and other environmental technologies. The Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) has been set up since 1990 to promote public awareness of environmental issues and encourage the public to contribute actively towards a better environment. Committee members are appointed by the Chief Executive. Representatives of relevant government departments, including the Environmental Protection Department, also sit on the Committee. Since its establishment, the ECC has planned and organized many environmental events and activities for different sectors of the community.
