Lab of City University of Hong Kong aims at developing innovative interventions with different approaches in reducing and preventing aggressive behaviour and victimisation of school bullying in Hong Kong. This project had adopted Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in group counselling working with the exercise of systematic anti-bullying education to improve the growth environment of schoolchildren and simultaneously address the school bullying issue comprehensively. After succeeding in implementing the Project C.A.R.E., the research team also invented various innovative approaches of intervention to reduce aggressive behaviour of schoolchildren and tackle the problem of school bullying.

Human ServicesInternational and Foreign AffairsLiving on less than US$0.50 per day means a daily battle for survival. The ultrapoor live in adequate, crowded shelters. They suffer from chronic hunger and malnutrition. They lack access to clean water and proper sanitation making them highly prone to many types of diseases. They are particularly vulnerable to recurring natural disasters. And they lack access to networks of support that could help them. Living in ultrapoverty means living without hope for better future. ICM's initiatives are specifically designed to meet the needs of ultrapoor households.
