- Description
- The Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps was incorporated in 1968. The Corps is not a vocational training institute but a government subsidized Uniformed Youth Organisation with cadet members aged 12-18. All cadets are required to wear uniform and to observe discipline : they will participate in training and activities during weekends and school holidays only. The Corps aims at providing nautical skills, team-building and discipline training to its cadet members through maritime activities and to develop in them such qualities of leadership, positive value, devotion to duty, self-respect and civic awareness so that they will become contributing citizens of our community.
