- The ARETE, a non-government think tank, was founded by a group of passionate people who have a genuine care and concern on the long-term development of Hong Kong. The think tank aims to consolidate power from society and is committed to explore the future development of Hong Kong and nurture talents of all kinds with a view to promoting the sustainability of Hong Kong from an innovative perspective. Missions and Values 1. From an independent and objective point of view, in respect of important social, political and economic issues and public policies, formulate strategic and targeted recommendations for the HKSAR Government and the community; 2. Provide a platform for a consortium of civic leaders to suggest policies on long-term development of Hong Kong; 3. Disseminate research results to make the general public aware of public policies from various perspectives and to improve civic quality; 4. Cultivate talents of all kinds so as to enhance the competitiveness of Hong Kong; 5. Establish partnerships with mainland and overseas research institutions, experts and civic leaders, to facilitate academic exchanges.
- Mission: The Association primarily provides a one-stop services to the occupational injured quadriplegic persons and their families. The Association is concerned about the deprivation of the physically-handicapped whose disability is caused by spinal cord injury.
