- Be The Change is a non-profit organization that works for the betterment of the needy, neglected and underprivileged families in Hong Kong through education and counselling. Over the past 11 years our core members and supporters have helped those in need build a better future. Often their work involves teaching students one to one, providing school uniforms and miscellaneous fees, guiding families and individuals with a view of hope and change towards a better life. Our mission is to help and support the underprivileged, especially among ethnic minorities in Hong Kong. - We resource people with skills to progress from being underprivileged to becoming self-sufficient. - We support children and their family members with education and counselling. - We provide special assistance to women and families. - We provide children and their families with rich learning experiences that stimulate a lifelong love for learning; in the ever-changing world in which we live. Our vision is to continue being an effective role model for society. - We provide a nurturing environment with awareness building to improve health and emotional development for children and their parents alike. - We guide parents and children in their aspiration and potential to pursue their academic and career goals. - We believe that family engagement is the key for a child’s development.
