- 香港神學院於1952年在香港創立，原名為「香港聖經學院」，為訓練傳道人，以回應香港人在戰後對福音的需求。最初發起人為中華傳道會前身─華僑遍傳福音會同工：余履真、顏東美、許蓁蓁、戎玉琴等人，贊助人及顧問是中華傳道會負責人宋德成牧師，當時特請中華傳道會前任監督周志禹牧師出任第一任院長，院址設在紅磡馬頭圍道。1960年開始搬到九龍塘金巴倫道17號現址（由中華傳道會借出）。由始至今，中華傳道會皆在經濟上和事工上支持學院的工作。 使命宣言 本院植根於香港，不分宗派，以福音信仰為根基，透過信仰與生活之整合、 全人生命塑造、個人恩賜之開展，訓練基督精兵， 於教會盡心牧養服事，在社會忠誠見證基督，回應時代多元挑戰。
