- 本教會開始於一九三八年，初時聚會借九龍城打鼓嶺道伯特利地方舉行，後來遷士他令道浸信會。光復時則假太子道303號地下吳清池先生（即吳毓輝前主席令尊）府上，不久又再遷士他令道浸信會聚會。 主日講道初時由主內弟兄姊妹輪流負責，及蒙伯特利教會牧師及各教會牧師幫助，主理講道，後來本會聘請陳應希先生為第一任傳道，第二任傳道為金腓力先生。一九四七年蒙神安排，得聘簡賜福先生為第三任傳道，並於一九五三年三月一日按立簡賜福先生為本會牧師。 一九四九年本會先賢前輩感於必須要有自己的禮拜堂及學校，所以發起籌建禮拜堂及學校運動，成立了九龍閩南中華基督教會籌建委員會，並於一九五四年向政府正式註冊為法團，展開籌募建堂、建校運動，獲海內外主內弟兄姊妹及美國歸正教會支持及奉獻，並蒙政府批贈天光道一幅三萬餘尺地皮為建堂，建校之用，感謝上帝，禮拜堂終於一九五八年在天光道舉行動土禮，一九五九年舉行獻堂禮。
- Mission: The Association primarily provides a one-stop services to the occupational injured quadriplegic persons and their families. The Association is concerned about the deprivation of the physically-handicapped whose disability is caused by spinal cord injury.
