- City Kids is an Early Years Centre that operates a playgroup for children between the ages of 10 months and 2.8 years and a preschool for children between the ages of 2.8 years and 5 years. The operation of these programmes is guided by our "learn through play" philosophy, under which play is fundamental to the safe, happy and healthy development of young children as they begin their early years education. At City Kids we nurture our students’ innate curiosity and lay the foundation for a life long love of learning. We believe that children who develop strong levels of confidence and social, emotional and practical life skills in their early years are most successful both in preschool and later in life.
