- 本教會的成立有賴西方宣教士來華宣教及明基堂對馬鞍山恆安?異象的回應，故此在介紹本教會簡史前，必須先簡介美北浸信宣道會和明基堂之簡史。 此外，本教會隸屬香港浸信宣道會聯會，故對聯會的簡介也是不能少的。 一. 美北浸信宣道會簡史 1. 1943年有一群浸信會的牧師和教會信徒完全接受聖經無誤，故成立「美北浸信宣道會」(Conservative Baptist Foreign Mission Society)，主要目標是傳福音，設立教會和領袖訓練，還有醫療，出版教育，廣播和救濟事工。現最少從事800種以上的事工。 2. 美北浸信宣道會國內差會始於1950年，主要事奉地點是美國，加拿大和中美洲。現約有300位宣教士。 3. 美北浸信宣道會聯合會成立於1947年，如今擁有1200間教會。 4. 美北浸信宣道會設有五所學校，兩所研究院。
