Founded by His Holiness the Gyalwang Drukpa, the spiritual Head of the 1000-year old Drukpa Lineage, Drukpa Hong Kong is one of the Drukpa organizations around the world covering the Americas (United States and South America), Europe and Asia. Drukpa Hong Kong is committed to preserving and promoting Himalayan Buddhist philosophy and the teachings of the 800-year old Drukpa Lineage. It supports both Buddhist practitioners and non-Buddhists alike in their quest to bring happiness, contentment and peace to all beings by putting their love and compassion into action. Drukpa Hong Kong is a spiritual and charitable organization dedicated to: *Preserving the 1000-year old Drukpa Lineage's traditions and invaluable heritage by promoting its philosophy and rebuilding its many monasteries; *Supporting and facilitating the livelihood of many devoted practitioners in their study of Tibetan Buddhist philosophy; *Promoting and organizing Tibetan Buddhist teachings and pilgrimages for Buddhists and non-Buddhists at home and abroad. Drukpa Hong Kong also supports His Holiness' "Live to Love" global humanitarian charity initiatives by taking an active role in providing people, regardless of their religion, gender and race in local communities with needed services, such as: *Education facilities, and eventually scholarships to high potential students *Medical facilities and medical care by establishing clinics in remote mountainous areas *Relief and Aid to those affected by natural or man-made disasters *Environmental protection and preservation.
"Yes I Can" Education Fund Limited is a charity dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth through transformative overseas experiences. The organisation provides scholarships for students to participate in a one-year high school exchange program in the United States. This opportunity is designed to broaden their horizons, inspire them to see a future full of possibilities, and help them break the cycle of intergenerational poverty.
