- Ednovators is a local charity founded by a group of education innovators. We inspire educators and cross-sector stakeholders to transform education and give hope to future generations of Hong Kong. We hope to see every child experience a learning journey that recognizes their unique gifts and needs, prepares them for a future that we don’t yet know, and empowers them to create their own meaningful lives Ednovators was founded in 2015, when the number of suicides among school-aged children was increasing at an alarming rate in Hong Kong. A group of social innovators took matters in their own hands and facilitated a series of conversations that intentionally included student voices and explore possibilities for our approach to education. We believe that be designing co-learning experiences and building cross-sector partnerships, we can create a future of education in Hong Kong to responds to the needs to today’s children. - 2022 Foundation, as a non-profit organization, seeks to facilitate the development of a long-term vision of what Hong Kong can accomplish by deepening and widening its knowledge platform. Mission: Recognizing the needs for Hong Kong to re-position itself in the global arena and the importance of developing reliable data and sound knowledge in the decision-making process, the 2022 Foundation will endeavor: 1. to serve as a round table of bringing together experts and leaders from academe, business, government and other sectors from Hong Kong, Mainland China and abroad into active cooperation in the provision of objective and cogent data to decision makers of Hong Kong 2. to foster cooperation in research in order to secure a better understanding of Hong Kong so that decisions can be made based on sound knowledge and reliable data 3. to promote, stimulate and provide complementary funding for relevant studies that have significant interests 4. to gather and collate technical information and to disseminate such information to the public
