- Fu Tak Iam Foundation was established in Hong Kong in 2007. Inspired by his father’s passing, Mr. Adrian H. C. Fu founded this charitable family foundation hoping to pass on his grandfather’s legacy of giving to future generations. The Foundation operates by way of endowment fund in perpetuity and professional governance of the Board. It consists of seven members with diversified competencies, and is supported by a grant allocation committee, an investment committee and an audit committee. To achieve its mission, the Foundation gives out donations to non-profits every year to support impactful projects in HK, China and Macau, which have not only brought long term benefits and hope to deprived people with different needs, but also helped improve the quality of living of the society as a whole. The Foundation values good practices in terms of impact evaluation, sound management and innovation. Mission We are committed to improving the quality of life for all, and in particular to ameliorating the lives of those who are deprived, underprivileged, or vulnerable to abuse or neglect. To this end, we aim to allocate funds prudently to maximise the social impact of our charitable giving.
- 2022 Foundation, as a non-profit organization, seeks to facilitate the development of a long-term vision of what Hong Kong can accomplish by deepening and widening its knowledge platform. Mission: Recognizing the needs for Hong Kong to re-position itself in the global arena and the importance of developing reliable data and sound knowledge in the decision-making process, the 2022 Foundation will endeavor: 1. to serve as a round table of bringing together experts and leaders from academe, business, government and other sectors from Hong Kong, Mainland China and abroad into active cooperation in the provision of objective and cogent data to decision makers of Hong Kong 2. to foster cooperation in research in order to secure a better understanding of Hong Kong so that decisions can be made based on sound knowledge and reliable data 3. to promote, stimulate and provide complementary funding for relevant studies that have significant interests 4. to gather and collate technical information and to disseminate such information to the public
