Description: For the past three decades, members of the Zonta Club of the New Territories have pledged to work as one to serve the community. We have supported and actively participated in a wide spectrum of social services, targeting in particular for women, then elderly, the young, the underprivileged and the handicapped. The organisation provides scholarships for students to participate in a one-year high school exchange program in the United States. This opportunity is designed to broaden their horizons, inspire them to see a future full of possibilities, and help them break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. The fund operates on the belief that when young people can see a future, they will not give up on themselves.
