Established in 1991, CEDAR Fund is an independent Christian relief and development organisation in Hong Kong. It was founded because of a tragic story heard by a founding member – the poor Haitians were suffering from hunger, they had to make mud cakes (mixing mud, water and salt, kneading them into cakes and drying them under the hot sun) to prevent from starving. He believed that Christians must fulfil the mission of loving the poor as commanded by the Lord, so he united with other Christians to establish CEDAR Fund.

McKinsey & Company’s education practice led to the establishment of the non-profit startup Generation, which trains and supports young people and mid-career individuals in building life-changing careers. Since 2014, it has operated in 17 regions worldwide, benefiting over 91,000 participants. Generation Hong Kong was established in 2018, focusing on aligning education with employment in Hong Kong and creating meaningful career pathways for young people and mid-career individuals. The training programs at Generation Hong Kong cover three high-demand sectors: innovative technology, elder care, and customer service. Talent shortages are not an issue that can be solved by one organization alone; therefore, we have been closely collaborating with partners from various sectors, including donors, employers, academic institutions, and non-profit organizations, to meet the needs of Hong Kong’s labor market. Generation Hong Kong aims to change the public perception of success, creating real business value for employers while also helping participants build long-term and fulfilling careers.

We INTERVENE DURING CRISIS to comfort and care for children born to migrant mothers and ensure they have a Nurturing Care Plan in place during the most critical years of early childhood development. We empower migrant women to make well-informed life decisions that PREVENT FUTURE CRISIS , and we provide employers with information and advice to enable pregnant MDWs to enjoy their right to ML and maintain job security. We engage with the general public to increase understanding, acceptance and support for children born to MDWs, and inspire SYSTEMIC CHANGE by ensuring policies and solutions exist to protect pregnant MDWs and their children.

Since 1993, we have been empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently, to care and advocate for themselves with the least amount of support. We create a welcoming and inclusive environment for our learners to engage their talents and integrate within the community through programmes, vocational education and social enterprises. The Centre “headquarters” are in the Sai Ying Pun Community Centre on High Street, where our members and learners meet according to programmes established for them. For medium to higher support needs learners, we have a broad variety of programmes, including literacy, numeracy, wellbeing, expressive arts (yoga, dance), vocational education and IT. We are providing work experiences for some of our members and also provided are opportunities for community engagement through a variety of pop-up stalls via several charities and our Social Enterprises. For example, we have successfully placed our learners in full time or part-time employment opportunities at one or more our social enterprises ,namely, Café 8 at the roof level, Central Pier 8 of Maritime Musuem; The Nest Coffee Shop at St John Catheral in Central and at St Andrew's Church, Jordan and The Nest Bakery in Chai Wan.

The agency was established in 1954 by Rev. H. L. Siu with the assistance of Rev. J. E. Morrison. They started the evangelization ministry in Hong Lok Sun Chuen by first operating learning classes for children on Bible and Chinese. It has then been expanded into the field of education and social services, covering the area of Wong Tai Sin, Tung Tau Estate, Wang Tau Hom, Ngau Tau Kok and Diamond Hill and other dlistricts in Kowloon and New Territories. The Pentecostal Church Hong Kong was officially registered as a charitable non-profit making organization in 1964.
