About the organisation
梅窩堂是一間很有鄉村風味的教會，她不僅獨有一棵聞說是全梅窩最好味的大樹菠蘿，她更是梅窩區唯一一間華人基督教教會，更是一間許多外遊人士到訪參與崇拜的教會。 在經濟急劇轉變下，梅窩堂自二零零三年一月起已成為經濟獨立、自治及自傳之堂會，當時整個事工重點是把佈道工作放回堂會恒常事工軌道上，隨後政府宣佈許多 政策，帶動整個大嶼山大變動—大嶼山西北有巨大的發展(興建迪士尼樂園，港珠澳大橋計劃)，但對梅窩這地方發展並沒有經濟帶動作用，但堂會在各樣不理想情 況下掙扎成長，近年本堂以健康堂會為發展方向，著重本質建立，在牧養工作日見緊張，堂會已按立執事協助教牧同工牧養工作，我們亦看見福音要轉化本土人心， 服務社區是一個踏實方法，我們仍求神帶領，看到關乎本區異象，叫上帝在這地方得榮耀，神國度得擴展。在差傳方面我們正在留心，祈求上帝使用這堂會對祂國度 有所建立及參與。
