法相學會致力弘傳自印度傳入中國的佛教法相唯識學的精深義理，藉以佛教正理融入現代社會，令人遠離煩惱，生活自在安樂。本會亦提倡因明學，為香港專門弘揚唯識及因明學的佛教團體。 本會更訂立以下宗旨 : ‧推廣佛法，弘揚佛教各宗派思想。 ‧出版佛學著作及法相集刊。 ‧培育弘法人才。
