About the organisation
香港友好協進會成立於一九八九年，由九位港區全國政協委員發起成立。宗旨是：團結香港社會各界愛國愛港人士，堅持「一國兩制」方針，貫徹落實基本法，推動香港平穩過渡、順利回歸；參政議政、促進兩地交流合作，支持國家改革發展，支持特區政府依法施政，維護香港繁榮穩定。 香港友好協進會以港區全國人大代表、全國政協委員和中華海外聯誼會理事為主體，還包括部分社團領袖、政壇名宿、工商翹楚和專業精英等。
