
About the organisation
Since 1977, the Hong Kong Arts Centre (HKAC) has been a platform for nurturing and supporting artists, and infusing arts into everyday life. Its unique arts and educational programmes aim to make the arts accessible for all. Vision Statement The Hong Kong Arts Centre is committed to enhancing Hong Kong's position as an artistically vibrant city through the promotion of contemporary arts and arts education for the whole community. Mission Statement The Hong Kong Arts Centre aims to engage the local community in the appreciation and creation of arts through a unique combination of its two main areas of activity: 1. Providing the community with diverse and educationally-enriching programmes of contemporary visual arts, film and performing arts 2. Offering a wide range of quality arts education programmes covering Fine Art, Media Art, Drama and Intangible Cultural Heritage Education.
