- 讓無聲的夢想展開每一雙翅膀！ 聾人是殘障者中最孤單的群體。因為失去聽力，學習口語對聾人來說要比我們（聽人）難千萬倍，對於比較貧困落後，不能及時接受合適訓練或聽力損失極其嚴重的聾人來說，開口講話幾乎成了不可能。 在這個以聲音為主要資訊傳遞媒介的社會裏，因為失去聽力，聾人不能像我們這樣便捷地接收資訊，不能用口語表達自己的內心感受，不能用口語與別人流暢地交流；因為失去聽力，聾人在學習、工作及社會生活中都會遇到重重障礙。 但是，聾人有一雙隱形的翅膀，聾人也擁有夢想，只要用適合他們的方法，為他們提供合適的教育、合適的舞臺，他們的人生一樣可以綻放光彩，他們的夢想一樣可以開花。 2005--2008年間，我們回應中國兩千多萬聾人的溝通障礙及其在教育、就業上的需要，並希望能為亞洲地區的聾人謀求福祉，於2005年6月首先在韓國開始開展了工作，同年10月在美國馬利蘭州註冊“愛加倍國際愛聾協會”（簡稱“愛加倍”），並於2008年3月在香港註冊為非營利性組織。韓國、美國和香港愛加倍的成員有韓國人、美國人、韓國華僑、美籍華人及香港人等聾人與聽人。 愛加倍期盼在愛的基礎上攜手為聾人服務，也祈願將“加倍的愛”（Agape Love）傳遞給千千萬萬的聾人。 我們的使命 藉著教育與職業培訓，增強聾人的知識與技能，使聾人平等地參與社會，進而充分發揮其潛能，奉獻他人，實現其自身價值。
