Description: The Asian Foundation for the Prevention of Blindness (AFPB) came into existence in October 16, 1981 during the visit of Sir John Wilson, the President of the International Agency for Prevention of Blindness and the Founder Director of the Royal Commonwealth Society for the Blind. Sir John conceived and organized global efforts to bring under control diseases which cause blindness among approximately 40 million people in the developing world.; "Yes I Can" Education Fund Limited is a charity dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth through transformative overseas experiences. The organisation provides scholarships for students to participate in a one-year high school exchange program in the United States. This opportunity is designed to broaden their horizons, inspire them to see a future full of possibilities, and help them break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. The fund operates on the belief that when young people can see a future, they will not give up on themselves.
