- The Audio Description Association (Hong Kong), a.k.a. AuDeAHK, is devoted to raising the standard and profile of audio description in Hong Kong, and providing quality description services especially for blind and partially sighted people. AuDeAHK offers AD services, AD training, public education sessions, and AD event consultations. VISION Our vision is to make information accessible for the blind and partially sighted. MISSION AuDeAHK is dedicated to raising the standard and profile of audio description (AD) in Hong Kong, and improving the lives of visually impaired people through the provision of quality AD services and through increasing participation in cultural activities. OUR OBJECTIVES Icon Heading 1）Improve information accessibility through quality AD services in various aspects for the visually impaired 2）Provide AD services for a wide array of cultural activities 3）Train audio describers 4）Educate the public and raise their awareness of the needs of the visually impaired and AD 5）Strengthen the dialogue between the visually impaired and the sighted 6）Work in partnership with organisations and schools that support blind and partially sighted people
- 2022 Foundation, as a non-profit organization, seeks to facilitate the development of a long-term vision of what Hong Kong can accomplish by deepening and widening its knowledge platform. Mission: Recognizing the needs for Hong Kong to re-position itself in the global arena and the importance of developing reliable data and sound knowledge in the decision-making process, the 2022 Foundation will endeavor: 1. to serve as a round table of bringing together experts and leaders from academe, business, government and other sectors from Hong Kong, Mainland China and abroad into active cooperation in the provision of objective and cogent data to decision makers of Hong Kong 2. to foster cooperation in research in order to secure a better understanding of Hong Kong so that decisions can be made based on sound knowledge and reliable data 3. to promote, stimulate and provide complementary funding for relevant studies that have significant interests 4. to gather and collate technical information and to disseminate such information to the public
