Description: Barnabas & Partners is a non-profit charitable organization registered in Hong Kong devoted to assisting impoverished families in rural China, providing humanitarian relief in times of disaster, providing vocational training and career opportunities to those in need (particularly in rural China), teaching sustainable farming, aquaponics, and environmental practices, and providing Christian leadership training. Barnabas & Partners strives to better understand the practical needs of impoverished Chinese families. We aim to cultivate even more ways for which the Hong Kong (and global) community can support those in China, so they can one day be financially independent and lead fruitful lives, satisfying their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.; Our mission is to strengthen the global finance industry by empowering women to achieve their professional potential at each career stage. We operate under a guiding principle that we call Vision 30/40. It is the goal for women to occupy 30% of senior investment roles and executive committee positions by 2040. Even with our efforts, and those of so many other organizations working towards gender equity, we still have quite a way to go for women to hold even close to the number of investment or executive roles in finance that men currently hold.
