HandsOn Hong Kong is a registered charity in Hong Kong, founded in 2007. We develops service programs to help local, under-served non-profit organizations and connect them with the volunteer manpower they need to achieve their mission. With a record 1.65 million Hong Kong people living in poverty, it is critical that we each do our part to support communities in need. At HandsOn we harness the spirit to serve in our city by empowering everyone in Hong Kong to volunteer. Every month, our team runs 200 volunteer activities on the HandsOn calendar as a free service. Each activity mobilizes Hongkongers to support under-resourced local charities and the vulnerable groups they serve. HandsOn provides behind-the-scenes support and trusted advisory to our charity partners year-round, serving as a vital extension of their teams. The spirit to serve in Hong Kong is stronger than ever, with over 45,000 volunteers in the HandsOn community. They support and connect with tens of thousands of people in need and critical causes every year. WISE HK was founded in 2017 to encourage our women and girls to participate in and stay playing sports by promoting the benefits of sports. We aim to empower our women and girls to lead active, meaningful and self-fulfilled lives. Our vision is a world where women and girls can thrive without limitations and we believe sports are a powerful tool for empowerment and support our health and well-being. We believe women and girls should be able to participate in the sport of their choice and enjoy it throughout their lives so they that can benefit from the physical, mental and social benefits that playing sport can provide, as well as be able to use sports to build, practice and enhance life skills such as resilience, perseverance, communication and more, that will enable us to thrive. We believe that by promoting all sports to women and girls in Hong Kong, by providing more access to sports, by empowering women and girls to take charge and lead in organising and managing sports, we will foster their lifelong participation and enjoyment of and in sports, as well as raise women's leadership in sports. This will translate into achieving higher levels of social-emotional competencies such as emotional and mental resilience, self-esteem and self-awareness, as well as higher levels of life skills attainment, which in turn will translate into higher personal satisfaction, and personal impact in their community economically, participatively and healthily.

Founded by RunOurCity, RunOurCity Foundation Limited is a not-for-profit charity body that caters and serves the underserved communities. We advocate and leverage compassion running to bring together different pockets of the society to promote harmony and empathy. Youth.ROC, our pioneer project aimed at Youths has so far served 12,000+ youngsters to motivate them from the coach to completing 10km run. We populate and infuse the program with multiple elements to enrich the meaning of healthy running to our participants to help them cultivate their running habits and cultures. The Foundation is now reaching out to communities with impediments and women groups and will continue to explore serving more under-served communities, to allow more folks to enjoy and benefit from the goodness of running!

We are the only Hong Kong charity dedicated to gynaecological cancers. The Karen Leung Foundation’s mission is to save lives by reducing the impact of gynaecological cancers in Hong Kong. We envision a world where women have every opportunity to live healthy and fulfilling lives free from gynaecological cancers. The Karen Leung Foundation (“KLF” or the “Foundation”) makes an impact by raising awareness about gynaecological cancers, educating the local community to promote prevention and early detection, and ensuring that women in treatment have access to optimal care. To achieve our objectives, KLF collaborates with the local and international medical community, as well as other NGO’s committed to improving women’s health. The Foundation was founded in 2013 with a vision to save lives by reducing the impact of gynaecological cancer. After conducting an initial in-depth community assessment, we’re working daily to address the unmet needs of the Hong Kong community. In 2014, we launched our initial programs and services aimed at increasing awareness of gynaecological cancer, promoting prevention of cervical cancer and supporting women in treatment.

Hong Kong Women Foundation is established and registered in 1991 in Hong Kong as a non-profit-making organisation. The Foundation aims to promote social services and women work. In the past two decades, the Foundation dedicated to serve the community, promoted services for women and families, children and youth as well as senior citizens. In co-operation with local universities and the universities in China, the Foundation conducted research studies and organised regional/international seminars to address issues concerning children, youth, women and families in the Chinese society. Through a joint federation with the local women organisations, the Foundation reviewed the Protection of Women and Juveniles Ordinance. In advocacy of women welfare and social harmony, the Foundation made recommendations to the Government for improvement of relevant policies and existing services for women. In 1996 the Foundation established the HO Kwok Pui Chun Social Centre for the Elderly. The Centre organised numerous activities oriented to senior citizens, assisting them in potential development and to participate in the community affairs for self-enrichment and active ageing. In 2014 the Social Welfare Department upgraded the Centre to become a Neighbourhood Elderly Centre. Thereafter the Centre has expanded the service scope, rendering counselling to the elderly and support for caregivers as well as for those elders who stay behind the scene. Apart from raising the service quality of the Centre, these have demonstrated the mission and achievements of the Foundation in serving the society. For the way forward, the Foundation will strive to serve and make contribution to the society, keeping abreast of the social conditions and tempo as appropriate. Aims and Objectives To raise social concerns for women’s needs and promote support for women services; To plan, study and suggest solutions for issues/problems relevant to women; To embark on new venture/work for advocacy of women welfare. To organise seminars, talks, workshops and other activities for better development of women welfare and services; To liaise and communicate with other organisations (sharing similar aimsand objectives) in Hong Kong, other region or the overseas for raising and improvement of women status; To review and make recommendations to the Government for improvement of policy in area of women services; and To publish and post article, publication, booklet for promotion of the aims and objectives of the Foundation.
