- 明珠佛學社創辦於 1966 年，由明慧法師及一群弟子所建立，以宏揚原始佛教教義為宗旨。本社於 1968 年開辦夜間佛學進修班，1972 年正式開辦佛學初階班，為本港最早開辦佛學課程的佛學團體之一。四十多年來，本社開設佛學課程不輟，除固定周日上午的佛學初階班、佛學中級班、經論研習班之外，更不定期舉辦各類專題講座，禮請不同界域專業人士蒞臨主講。 明珠佛學社除設立佛學班以宏揚佛教教理之外，亦曾經與香港佛教聯合會合辦「佛教明珠學校」以推行小學教育；本社也曾提供多年的「中醫贈診」服務。此外，更出版「明珠佛學社佛學叢書」，其中包括《般若波羅蜜多心經釋義》、《金剛經發微》、《中觀論頌選釋》、《般若心經對破讀》、《維摩經句解釋義》、《明珠佛學初階》、《心經透網》及《大嶼山誌》等。此等書籍可於本港佛教書局及各大書局選購。 本社另更印製有《明慧法師墨寶紀念集》、《書墨因緣四十年》、《明珠佛學社四十周年紀念》、《向於捨》等紀念集及書籍，免費與各界人士結緣。
