Description: City University of Hong Kong EMBA Association Limited (the "Association") was formed by the alumni of CityU EMBA programme in 2000, with the main objectives to promote the EMBA programme and cultivate friendship among members. In 2014, the Executive Committee of the Association planned to establish a charitable and educational fund with the main purpose of further enriching the EMBA programme. Our Mission "To strengthen the local and global connectivity of the City University's EMBA Programme and to promote social responsibilities among its participants" Our Objectives - Promoting the development of EMBA Programme - Establishing funds for scholarships or assisting deserving members of the Association - Providing financial support for such education establishment as approved by trustees - Promoting the caring spirit by contributing back to the communit; Our mission is to strengthen the global finance industry by empowering women to achieve their professional potential at each career stage. We operate under a guiding principle that we call Vision 30/40. It is the goal for women to occupy 30% of senior investment roles and executive committee positions by 2040. Even with our efforts, and those of so many other organizations working towards gender equity, we still have quite a way to go for women to hold even close to the number of investment or executive roles in finance that men currently hold.
