Description: Fargo Foundation funds educational programs and events that provide learning opportunities for underprivileged youth and at-risk communities in Hong Kong Founded in 2012 by Chris Greary, Fargo Foundation was established to provide an array of opportunities for the advancement of skills and education the at risk youth and underprivileged community within Hong Kong. We are an independently run non-profit organisation working on the development of computational education programmes. Through our partnership with advocacy programmes such as Kely Support Group and Christian Action we try to raise awareness on the challenges faced by underprivileged communities and highlight their ability to overcome their tribulations. Our programmes currently running include: -Street Poppy -RefuGeek -Tech Stars -Hong Kong Treasure Hunt; Our mission is to strengthen the global finance industry by empowering women to achieve their professional potential at each career stage. We operate under a guiding principle that we call Vision 30/40. It is the goal for women to occupy 30% of senior investment roles and executive committee positions by 2040. Even with our efforts, and those of so many other organizations working towards gender equity, we still have quite a way to go for women to hold even close to the number of investment or executive roles in finance that men currently hold.
