Description: Hang Seng School of Commerce (HSSC) (恒生商學書院) was a school established in 1980 to provide post-secondary programmes in business and related areas. In 2010, HSSC was restructured and became Hang Seng Management College (HSMC) (恒生管理學院), a non-profit private university-level institution to offer bachelor’s and above degree programmes in diversified disciplines. In 2018, HSMC was granted approval by the government to change its title to The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) (香港恒生大學); Our mission is to strengthen the global finance industry by empowering women to achieve their professional potential at each career stage. We operate under a guiding principle that we call Vision 30/40. It is the goal for women to occupy 30% of senior investment roles and executive committee positions by 2040. Even with our efforts, and those of so many other organizations working towards gender equity, we still have quite a way to go for women to hold even close to the number of investment or executive roles in finance that men currently hold.
