About
- Description
- Hands on Learning is an important aspect of The Harbour School. Children Learn Science are performing experiments, and children learning History are role playing the challenges of earlier times rather than just reading about them. Children at the Harbour school are learning the art of respectful debate so that they feel safe and valued when exposing new ideas while thoughtfully considering the ideas of others. They also have strong exposure to alternative types of expression including creative writing, drama, dance, music, and visual arts. With its trademark small class size and progressive emphasis on differentiated learning, the arts and global cultural literacy, The Harbour School has carved its own niche in the Hong Kong community as the little school with a positive, productive and enthusiastic environment. THS has already gained a reputation for innovation and excellence.
- Our mission is to strengthen the global finance industry by empowering women to achieve their professional potential at each career stage. We operate under a guiding principle that we call Vision 30/40. It is the goal for women to occupy 30% of senior investment roles and executive committee positions by 2040. Even with our efforts, and those of so many other organizations working towards gender equity, we still have quite a way to go for women to hold even close to the number of investment or executive roles in finance that men currently hold.
