- Hong Kong Academy is a non-profit international through-train school located in Sai Kung in the New Territories. Founded in 2000, we are in our third decade of providing joyful, dynamic and rigorous education to children ages 3 to 18. We value how children learn as well as what they learn, and our teachers provide rich and engaging opportunities for every individual to discover their passions, pursue their interests and contribute to their communities. MISSION STATEMENT Hong Kong Academy is a joyful, dynamic learning community that provides a rigorous international education characterised by mutual benefit and support. As an educational leader, HKA empowers learners to pursue pathways to individual excellence by fostering creativity, communication and problem-solving skills. HKA learners develop an evolving understanding of themselves and our changing world, leading them to engage in responsible action motivated by their interests, strengths and ongoing reflection. HKA is committed to maintaining a diverse, collaborative and captivating learning environment in which students become adaptable, confident and tolerant, equipping them for a sustainable future .
- Our mission is to strengthen the global finance industry by empowering women to achieve their professional potential at each career stage. We operate under a guiding principle that we call Vision 30/40. It is the goal for women to occupy 30% of senior investment roles and executive committee positions by 2040. Even with our efforts, and those of so many other organizations working towards gender equity, we still have quite a way to go for women to hold even close to the number of investment or executive roles in finance that men currently hold.
