- Founded in 2014 by Chun Wo Development Holdings Limited, Lifewire brings together patients, charities, donors, and medical experts into a tightly-knit community to provide a channel for those in need to receive help. By documenting each patient’s story through text and video, we strive to share their narrative with the public to: 1. Raise funds to provide urgent medical care for children with rare diseases and to support patients’ long-term medical needs 2. Promote an inclusive society by increasing public awareness of rare diseases through community education Vision: Ignite compassion and rally together like-minded individuals to protect disenfranchised children in the community Mission: 1. Assist patients with rare diseases to afford urgent medical care and to support patients’ long-term medical needs 2. Rally together volunteers to provide continual support and guidance for patients and their families 3. Serve as the bridge between corporates, commerce associations, and the public to collaboratively support patients with rare diseases 4. Publish original media content to share the children’s stories with the public and raise awareness for those with rare diseases Values 1. - 2022 Foundation, as a non-profit organization, seeks to facilitate the development of a long-term vision of what Hong Kong can accomplish by deepening and widening its knowledge platform. Mission: Recognizing the needs for Hong Kong to re-position itself in the global arena and the importance of developing reliable data and sound knowledge in the decision-making process, the 2022 Foundation will endeavor: 1. to serve as a round table of bringing together experts and leaders from academe, business, government and other sectors from Hong Kong, Mainland China and abroad into active cooperation in the provision of objective and cogent data to decision makers of Hong Kong 2. to foster cooperation in research in order to secure a better understanding of Hong Kong so that decisions can be made based on sound knowledge and reliable data 3. to promote, stimulate and provide complementary funding for relevant studies that have significant interests 4. to gather and collate technical information and to disseminate such information to the public
