The main funding for the Methodist Epworth Village Community Centre Social Welfare comes from the Social Welfare Department, and the rest relies on the Community Chest of Hong Kong, service fees and donations from the Association and people from all walks of life. That's why your support is paramount.

SVhk focuses on inventing, incubating and investing social innovation solutions, including affordable housing, running and plant-based movement, women empowerment etc. It also provides impact strategy for large business conglomerates and foundations, building impact collectives with multi-stakeholders. To date, we have supported 100+ impact ventures in Hong Kong, and continue to deploy partnerships to uplift neighbourhoods with a place-based lens.

本堂是香港「基督教中國佈道會」的會員堂會之一。「中國佈道會」是中國名佈道家計志文牧師於1947年於上海創立。 在1987年香港迦南堂約二十位信徒被差往沙田植堂，早期於李兆康長老家中聚會，於1988年4月轉往大圍田心村建立教會。有見區內雙職父母及其在學子女極需要高質素的課餘託管服務需要，會眾亦同心領受「服侍鄰舍，見證基督」的異象，故積極探討為區內學童提供服務的可能性。 蒙神恩典，本堂獲得房屋署批准以社區服務形式，租用新翠邨新明樓現址開辦學生發展中心，並獲得白普理基金慷慨贊助全數約一百三十萬元的開辦費。最後，中心於1991年1月正式啟用，命名為「基督教中國佈道會沙田迦南堂白普理學生發展中心」，迄今服務社區接近三十年。 1994年7月，教會自立為「基督教中國佈道會沙田迦南堂」。 本堂開辦的「白普理學生發展中心」屬於非政府資助的機構，根據《稅務條例》第88條已獲豁免繳稅的慈善團體。1997年更成為公益金會員機構，並於2000年成為香港社會服務聯會會員。 我們的使命 藉著神的話語和大能，在本港建立一間結合敬拜、教導、牧養、門訓、宣教五方面平衡發展及健康而強壯的教會。
