香港普明佛學會 乃 由已故 果通法師 及一群 有志為 佛教 服務 的青年 成立於 一九八一年。 現 為一 香港政府 註冊非牟利 慈善團體。 本會名稱 是取自《法華經》觀世音菩薩 普門品 的 「慧日破諸闇， 普明照世間」 一句的「普明」兩字， 意即「佛法普遍照耀世間」的意思。 本會 成立 的宗旨， 是 以理 入手， 把 正確的 佛教 義理 介紹 給 大眾， 從而 使 人們 真正 了解 佛法 及 消除 對 佛教 的誤解。 並 積極 實踐 釋迦牟尼佛 平等 利生 的 精神， 服務 社群， 以 建立 「人間佛教」 為 目標。 期望 將 佛教 積極 入世 的 一面 實踐 於 生活 中。 香港普明佛學會 的前身 是 教觀學會， 乃由 一群 佛教 青年 於 一九七八年 成立， 並 邀請 羅漢寺 督監 果通 法師 為 顧問， 教觀 學會 於 一九八零年 解散， 接著 籌辦 香港普明佛學會， 一九八一年 三月 成為 合法 團體。 由於 會務 不斷 發展， 因應 需求， 學會 於 一九八五年 轉為 註冊 有限公司， 於 一九八七年 三月， 更獲 政府 批准 為 註冊 免稅 慈善 團體。

明珠佛學社創辦於 1966 年，由明慧法師及一群弟子所建立，以宏揚原始佛教教義為宗旨。本社於 1968 年開辦夜間佛學進修班，1972 年正式開辦佛學初階班，為本港最早開辦佛學課程的佛學團體之一。四十多年來，本社開設佛學課程不輟，除固定周日上午的佛學初階班、佛學中級班、經論研習班之外，更不定期舉辦各類專題講座，禮請不同界域專業人士蒞臨主講。 明珠佛學社除設立佛學班以宏揚佛教教理之外，亦曾經與香港佛教聯合會合辦「佛教明珠學校」以推行小學教育；本社也曾提供多年的「中醫贈診」服務。此外，更出版「明珠佛學社佛學叢書」，其中包括《般若波羅蜜多心經釋義》、《金剛經發微》、《中觀論頌選釋》、《般若心經對破讀》、《維摩經句解釋義》、《明珠佛學初階》、《心經透網》及《大嶼山誌》等。此等書籍可於本港佛教書局及各大書局選購。 本社另更印製有《明慧法師墨寶紀念集》、《書墨因緣四十年》、《明珠佛學社四十周年紀念》、《向於捨》等紀念集及書籍，免費與各界人士結緣。

BTP was founded in 2009 and affiliated to the "student institution incubation program" of the University of Hong Kong. Since its establishment, BTP has carried out six independent volunteer projects -- Go2Africa, Hello Neverland, SinCere, Home Kong, Into Miracle, Yonder Narnia and SAGA. BTP has made outstanding achievements in six long-term volunteer projects. For example, the Africa team was received by the vice president of Ghana; the Hainan and Sichuan project made the headlines of the local media; BTP was also selected to become a member of the "student institution incubation program" by the University of Hong Kong. Moreover, all projects are supported by the service 100 fund of HKU. Mission & Values 1. We hope to change the world with volunteer spirit through practical actions. 2. We are committed to providing young people with a broad platform for voluntary social services, and cultivating their sense of social responsibility and global citizenship. 3. We are committed to improving the status quo of education, poverty, health care, information technology and cultural conservation at the aided areas. Our Goals 1. Bernard Van Zuiden Music Fund, The

The Bernard van Zuiden Music Fund aims to provide financial aid for young Chinese music talent from Hong Kong to pursue musical training abroad. Recipients are expected to return to Hong Kong upon finishing their studies and to contribute their talent to the Hong Kong music field. The fund was established in 1983 under a generous donation from Mr Bernard van Zuiden, a late Hong Kong resident and businessman who was very active in the Dutch community. The Trustees of the Fund are the Hong Kong Philharmonic Society Limited and HSBC Trustee (Hong Kong) Limited. Over the last 37 years, the Fund has supported many emerging local musicians. Most of them are now part of the Hong Kong music scene, and some are currently full-time HK Phil musicians.

Asia Academy of Management Limited, The

The Asia Academy of Management is designed to encourage management research, education and knowledge dissemination that are of relevance to management in Asia. The Asia Academy is a global organization that welcomes both ethnic Asian and non-ethnic Asian researchers and managers who are interested in management issues relevant to Asia. The mission of the Asia Academy is to assume global leadership in the advancement of management theory, research and education of relevance to Asia. In August 1997, more than 60 Academy of Management conference participants met and agreed to set up the Asia Academy of Management with the above mission. They endorsed the principle that the Asia Academy should be an independent organization run in Asia, with links to the Academy of Management and other scholarly organizations. The objective of the Asia Academy is thus to encourage contextualized management research with Asia relevance towards global contribution to scholarship.

The school is operated and managed by the Council of Heep Yunn School, which is also the sponsoring body of the primary and kindergarten sections. It determines the school policy and major decisions of the school administration. The internal management is headed by the School-based Administration Committee. Chaired by the Headmaster, staff opinions and suggestions voiced at general staff meetings or departmental meetings are considered, discussed and fine-tuned at the regular meetings before they are recommended to the School Council for endorsement.
