Tin Ka Ping Foundation (The Foundation) was founded in 1982. It strives to support the education sector and other charitable endeavours in the Greater China Region The future of China lies in education. The Foundation upholds its mission to improving the quality of basic education in China. This is in fact the belief of my father, Dr. TIN Ka Ping, and it has been the focus of our continued effort. The Foundation works in line with the local and national education policies and strategies. Since 2010, the Foundation has been transforming its operation and structure towards a professional governance while taking on major projects for school development, and teachers and principalsˇ trainings across mainland China. We believe China’s economic development underscores the importance of education quality at primary and secondary level, particularly in rural areas where we are committed to serve with our best. Every journey has a story to tell. It all started in the summer of 2011, as students back then from various disciplines at the University of Hong Kong, we joined a programme called the Migrant Outreach Education Initiative (MOEI) organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences. In the programme, we were given the opportunity to teach English to a group of Myanmar refugee / migrant children along the Thai-Burma border. While the children absorb knowledge at a speed of a sponge, we volunteers too were given a pair of new lens as we see a world beyond our privileged setting. As we all returned to Hong Kong with a heavy heart, we pondered on how we could give back to this community, a group of smiling faces who took us in almost immediately as one of them - as family. It was then we decided to use what we learnt in University, our knowledge from our respective disciplines, to pay it forward to this land we proudly called our second home. And this has become the spark of our journey. From there on sprang our School Construction programme, Playground Renovation programme, Street Law programme, Journalism Literacy programme, Medical programme and many more. Each year, University students from various disciplines through different summer voluntary programmes head to the Thai-Burma border and various cities in Myanmar to conduct workshops and projects, translating their knowledge into practical use, and along so built strong and lasting friendships with the Myanmar community. From developing programmes and projects, in the year 2017, we also began funding our first batch of Myanmar students to Universities abroad via our Scholarship Scheme - many of which we got acquainted years ago in our summer programmes as participants or members of our local partnering organisations. The journey continues as we explore what lies ahead in the next chapter - and we invite you too to join us as we dream and envision an empathetic world where everyone has the equal opportunity to realise their potentials and aspirations.

Established by Mr. Chiu Kwong-chiu in 2001, the Design and Cultural Studies Workshop is dedicated to the research and promotion of traditional Chinese culture as well as contemporary art and design. The key research topics are “culture,” “design” and “Hong Kong.” We employ various ways of promotion and attempts in various areas, including book publications, digital media, exhibitions, educational projects, etc. We collaborate earnestly with organizations in China, Hong Kong and overseas to enhance the general understanding and interest of learning traditional Chinese culture. In 2010, “Design and Cultural Studies Workshop Limited” was officially registered as a charitable organization in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Social Workers Association was established in 1949 and registered as a "Limited Company" in 1975. The purpose of the Association is to "unite social workers and develop the profession". The purpose is to improve the professional standard of social work in Hong Kong, cultivate excellent professional ethics and codes, and provide advice to the relevant authorities on the professional status of social work and related social welfare policies. The Association is a member of the International Federation of Social Workers and The Hong Kong Council of Social Service. They are targeting Hong Kong social workers and Social work students studying in colleges and universities.

Education Social Enterprise Limited was established in 2009 under the Hong Kong Company Laws and was recognized as a public charity by the Inland Revenue Department in 2010 (IR File No.91/10386). The purpose of the association is to support educational services and encourage community participation.

Light On is incorporated in Hong Kong under limited by guarantee. On 14th February, 2017, Light On Charity Limited has been granted tax exemption status under the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Ordinance Section 88. Light On’s IR File no. is 91/14663. Light On has two main focuses: First, Light On has completed re-construction projects at its first and second schools in Lamjung, Nepal. Currently, Light On is focusing on the self-sustaining aspect of these Lamjung villages. A TV program about our rebuilding project: https://bit.ly/3eRyVfa Second, through hosting monthly “Keep Your Light On” Wellbeing workshops in Hong Kong, Light On hopes that by introducing different spiritual techniques, individuals can find a "navigator" that suits them. So when sailing in the dark sea, they can still find the beacon of life or a small beam of light, that leads them forward. Third, right after the 2015 earthquake, we had delivered over 8 tonnes of materials, benefitting more than 700 families. Moreover, as the Covid-19 pandemic hit Nepal hard in 2021, we had also distributed hot meals and food packages to nearly 4,500 people. La Violet Charity Foundation Limited

Founded in 2014 (and registered as a tax-exempt body under Section 88 in 2015), La Violet Charity Foundation is a charitable organization that plans and executes education, youth-related, and dream-chasing charity programs in Hong Kong. The team organizes an annual territory-wide event ‘Life beyond Routine’ Dream Project in the hope of rallying the community to promote the spirit of ‘Life beyond Routine’, encouraging Hong Kong people to find their interests, stick to their ideas, challenge themselves, and develop their creativity and personal potentials. Since its inception, ‘Life beyond Routine’ has accomplished nearly 100 dream projects and helped more than 5,000 dreamers to take the first step to pursue their dreams. The project has received positive feedback from different sectors of society, with 150+ media reports. Over 100 ‘Dream Sharing Sessions’ were also held in cooperation with more than 150 primary and secondary schools. The program has been divided into three streams for the youth, the family and the elderly under the themes of Dream Creation, Dream Extension and Dream Fulfillment respectively, of which the ‘Dream Creation Program’ was supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charity Trust in 2019-2021.. In addition, the foundation also collaborates with various organizations and corporates to organize youth programs, including the ‘Plan your dream, reach your goal!’, ‘Dream Market’ and ‘Startup Your Idea’ with the Youth Development Council, theDesk, and UBS respectively.

Aspiring to share with you the beauty of ancient Chinese art via our collection of terra cotta horses from Han Dynasty BC 206-AD 220 to Ming Dynasty AD 1368-1644, a significant time-line which links up the role of Horses with Chinese art, culture and history. As a focus of human interest in the ancient world, horses have been considered beautiful, noble and powerful – they symbolize the strength of a kingdom. The wonderful collection of art in this book is a reminder of this strong attraction. Being aware of the fact that the future prosperity, the well-being of the country and its people are dependent on the advancement of educational level of the citizens, Dragon Culture Charity Fund Limited is set up. Having spent nearly ten years on the collection with more than a million Hong Kong dollars put into the research, design and production of this book, all gross proceeds from the sales of Horses for Eternity will go to the Fund for the development of basic education in deprived rural areas in Mainland China as well as to support many other needy ones in our society. Founded end of 2012, Anu Mongolia Charity is a volunteer-based trust registered in Hong Kong which works towards equal opportunities for vulnerable children in the North-Western region of Mongolia, in the form of educational interventions. To date, Anu Mongolia Charity has implemented two projects; the improvement of a school of 300 children and a mobile school initiative. The interventions of the trust are initiated by the community and encourage local capacity and resources. One of the elements that make Anu Mongolia Charity unique lies in the promotion and preservation of cultural activities. Vision Anu Mongolia Charity's vision is that, through educational opportunities, Mongolian children will reach their goal of being involved in the future of their country.
