BLOOM Association Hong Kong (BLOOM HK) was established on 8th June 2009 World Ocean Day, as a locally based NGO to carry out research, campaign and education work related to topics of marine conservation. While sharks and the shark fin trade have been from the very start a core focus of BLOOM HK's research and programmes, and continues to remain so, our work has since grown to give attention to other topics that are also of pressing conservation significance in Hong Kong, including the live reef food fish trade, sustainable seafood, trade in mobulid gill plates, and local marine biodiversity conservation and research. Apart from conducting scientific research projects such as the 114°E Hong Kong Reef Fish Survey Survey, BLOOM HK also strives to educate not only students and the general public, but also the key stakeholders in each marine issue to drive positive change. It is our core belief that while we are often part of the problem in marine conservation issues, we can also make the choice to be a part of the solution.

Better Hong Kong Foundation, The

The Better Hong Kong Foundation is a privately-funded, non-profit making organisation and has no political affiliation. It was formed by influential Hong Kong business and community leaders in 1995 to build greater international understanding between East and West by facilitating communications between Hong Kong, China and the global community. The Foundation’s principal objective is to help build a better Hong Kong. To this end, the Foundation regularly works with local and international academic institutions and research institutes in conducting surveys and studies, and in organising forums and conferences. The results of these allow us to make informed proposals and assist in the long-term development of Hong Kong. Additionally, the Foundation organises frequent high-level delegation visits to overseas countries to update the international community on the latest developments in Hong Kong affairs, and to encourage exchanges between leaders in Hong Kong, China and the West. The Foundation also receives overseas delegations and visiting journalists who are here to learn more about China and Hong Kong first hand.

2017年10月基督教伯特利會董事會委任林漢偉、陳志忠和盧明三人成立堂委會籌備在九龍城嘉林邊道建立新堂會，並於2017年11月12日舉行第一次崇拜。堂委會向弟兄姊妹發出通告，邀請弟兄姊妹參與建立新堂會。2017年11月12日上午十一時開始第一次主日崇拜，並遵循伯特利教會的信仰及傳統，以延續伯特利教會的福音使命，讓弟兄姊妹重過歡悅的教會生活、同心敬拜事奉神。感謝主的帶領，義務顧問牧師陳誠東牧師和義務傳道鄭容妹姑娘加入堂委會協助發展及推動聖工。 經禱告後及承蒙總會伯特利教會的允許，於2018年11月基督教伯特利會董事會將新堂會命名為「基督教伯特利會美玉堂」（Bethel Mission of China （Hong Kong） Dr. Mary Stone Memorial Church Limited） 本堂宗旨 　　本堂以傳揚福音、領人歸主、見證基督、造就信徒、完成上主所託付之使命為宗旨。 美玉堂為基督教伯特利會附屬之堂會，會內事工由會友自理，並設董事會和執事會。其信仰、禮儀、體制、立場等，須尊重及依照伯特利教會歷史傳統，由董事會負責監督。同工會主要功能為推動教會一切聖工，向董事會負責；董事會主要功能為制訂教會發展方向及監察同工會、關懷各同工的身、心、靈，為美玉堂最高決策機構，向基督教伯特利會負責。

Bangladesh Association of Hong Kong [BAHK] have been set up in October 2003 with support from the Bangladeshi community in Hong Kong. The main aim of BAHK is to promote Bangladeshi unity, culture and language in Hong Kong. This will also provide a venue for Bangladeshi children to learn their mother tongue, which is not taught in any local schools or institutions. BAHK is the first such centre in Hong Kong which aims to promote Southeast Asian culture and work as a bridging centre with other cultures. The centre will provide information about Bangladeshi culture (languages, music, dance etc.), promote reading and writing of basic Bengali, Arabic and other related languages. This will allow us to practice and strengthen our own culture and enhance our cultural heritage while we are in different cultural environment.

In 1992, the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF formed the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative Committee in order to promote and support breastfeeding in Hong Kong. This Committee has been organising activities to raise awareness for breastfeeding, for example the World Breastfeeding Week in Hong Kong. The Committee was registered as Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative Hong Kong Association (BFHIHKA) in June 1994. We aim to promote breastfeeding and protect infant health. We are committed to create a health care and societal environment that enables parents and other caregivers to make informed decisions about optimal infant feeding and carry them through. Our Aims -To promote breastfeeding to expectant parents and the general public -To cultivate a positive attitude towards breastfeeding in the community -To advocate the protection of the rights of mothers and babies to breastfeed -To support mothers to breastfeed by facilitating health facilities caring for mothers and babies to become “Baby-Friendly”

We are devoted to promoting audio description (AD) and training audio describers to assist visually impaired people to get access to information, to raise public awareness of AD and to facilitate social inclusion. AuDeAHK offers a wide array of AD services, covering films, TV programmes, performances, exhibitions, visits and outdoor activities, etc and provides professional consultation services. In addition, AuDeAHK publishes AD guidelines; develops teaching materials; and provides AD training workshops, courses and public education sessions, passing the torch.

Based on the biblical belief of "holistic healing and health", the chaplaincy service aims to demonstrate God’s love and gospel of Jesus to patients and their families as well as hospital staff through spiritual care at bedside and referral visits, regular and seasonal programs. Chaplains are pastors with professional pastoral training and they work in hospitals in collaboration with medical staff, volunteers and churches in local communities. The first residing chaplain in public hospital dated back to 1984. After more than 30 years of development, we now have over 100 residing chaplains from 20 chaplaincy committees, covering almost 50 public and private hospitals with an average of 400,000 visitations per year.The chaplaincy service demonstrates God's love and salvation and put the gospel in action.

The Hong Kong Sea Cadet Corps was incorporated in 1968. The Corps is not a vocational training institute but a government subsidized Uniformed Youth Organisation with cadet members aged 12-18. All cadets are required to wear uniform and to observe discipline : they will participate in training and activities during weekends and school holidays only. The Corps aims at providing nautical skills, team-building and discipline training to its cadet members through maritime activities and to develop in them such qualities of leadership, positive value, devotion to duty, self-respect and civic awareness so that they will become contributing citizens of our community.
