About the organisation
The inspiration for BMF Foundation has been generations in the making. Jon’s family pioneered medical service in China in the early 1900’s and Judy comes from a long line of educators. This enduring legacy continues to inspire their passion to provide education and health for the disadvantaged. Through their four boys’ love for sports, they have supported programs that provide an outlet for young people to participate in sports and produce valuable leadership training. Another gift to the family is their daughter Maggie, who completes their family with her creativity and love for baking and handicrafts. BMF Foundation has grown out of a desire to partner with like-minded individuals, who together can transform more lives to see them reach their fullest potential. Our vision is to see lives filled with OPPORTUNITY and HOPE. Our mission is to lift up the disadvantaged by building foundations in EDUCATION and HEALTH.

We partnered with Wisdom Nest School’s financial assistance program to provide scholarships for 56 students in grades 7–10. This support helps ease the burden on families in need while investing in the students’ futures. By helping students remain in school, these scholarships provide greater access to education, create opportunities for personal growth, and equip young people with the tools they need to build a brighter future.

We loved visiting Breakthrough City Church (BCC) as they hosted a conference to equip and encourage 40 young people and leaders in their local community, creating a space for growth, connection, and spiritual encouragement.

We’re grateful to support PenguinSmart’s new program bringing online speech therapy to three families in Iraq. This initiative provides consistent, accessible support for children with developmental delays, helping build their communication skills and confidence.
