Our mission is putting God's love into action by celebrating childhood and building dreams for the poorest of poor children. Goal: To create an environment in the community where the children would have access to education so that the social and economic status of the communities would improve in the future. Objectives: 1. Educating the children by putting them in schools and providing educational kits 2. Open a community library for children where children can access books of various subjects 3. Indulge the children in sports and recreation by building sports teams and getting them trained 4. Organise fundraising events to raise funds for educating children 5. Initiate and train people of the community on a social enterprise to empower communities on sustainable employment

希望以下的資料，可以給大家對我們Buddies For Life多一點認識: 我們的NGO，100%捐款用於受助對象。我們怎樣營運？我們的行政開支，全部來自我們的Founders及骨幹成員自付。跟過我們去外地義工服務的義工，都知道我們的做事方式，我們所有捐款都放在村民身上，機票、交通、住宿、雜費，無論我們的成員或義工全部自付。 為了增加透明度，捐助者可經我們直接與當地受助者接觸，親自探訪又好、書信來往又好，現在更可參與網上交流活動，可以明確知道捐助對象的生活狀況。 我們的NGO沒有太多成員，亦沒有發展得很大，我們全部成員都是以義工形式參與工作。我們的活動不多，是希望可以集中幫助某一弱小社群，希望監管得更好。 希望以上給大家對我們認識多一點。 我們在COVID-19 前，每年聖誕節都會回柬蒲寨村落舉行「Make A Wish」活動，希望給孩子們實現一個願望。 今年聖誕節我們會給孩子們一個特別的願望清單 - 就是「學習」。他們想改善父母的生，他們想有機會在城市工作，而不是在農場工作。 為了讓學生能夠上課，我們開始籌備網上學習，將在 Chrey Khangchoeurng 村提供網上英語及高棉文課程。 希望在大家的支持下，我們可以幫助農村地區的貧困兒童在COVID-19 期間實踐網上課程。課程將於週末2-4pm實行。 在項目的第一階段，我們將需要總共籌集 3955 美元來為該村的 20 名學生教授英語。 這筆款項將100%用於造福村孩子們。籌款金額包括為學生購買智能手機、教科書、每月SIM卡充值、教師Wi-Fi費用、教科書和zoom許可證。 如果有興趣的香港人可以報名參與義工服務，提供網上教學，為孩子們教授英語、普通話或任何類型的課程。 有興趣可以留言或電郵至buddiesforlifehk@gmail.com
- Do support our first major project in Cambodia after COVID-19
The children in rural Cambodia might have empty wishlists this Christmas, but one thing that they always wish for is to study and be better off than their parents. They want to work in the cities rather than working in the farms with their parents. Covid19 has destroyed many people’s lives and jobs in Cambodia. Most of the children in villages do not have smart devices or internet access to study virtually like other youngsters in the large cities, so they just play around and help their parents in the fields. To enable students to continue to learn online with the provision of technologies and textbooks we will begin online English classes in the village Chrey Khangchoeurng. With your support, we can help underprivileged children in rural areas to have an online English class during this terrible pandemic. The course will be held on the weekends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. We will need a total fundraise of US$ 3955 to teach English to 20 students of the village in the first phase of the project. 100 percent of the amount will be utilized for the benefit of the village children. This fundraise amount consists of purchase of smart phones to some students, textbook, monthly sim recharge, Wi-Fi charges for teachers, teaching books and zoom license. We will also begin online volunteering for interested Hong Kong people who would like to teach English, Mandarin or any kind of capacity building classes to the village children.
- 柬童網上助學計劃
COVID-19 摧毀了世界各地許多人的生活和工作，尤其以農業及旅遊業為主的柬埔寨。 由於柬埔寨 77% 的人口居住在農村地區，Covid19 影響了約37% 的小童及青少年不能上學，村落學校關閉，在村落可以學習的機會都截斷了。 他們大多數人都沒有智能設備或互聯網，無法像大城市中的其他年輕人一樣進行網上學習，他們每天只能在田野裡工作或做勞工。 他們無法學習當地語文和英語科目，他們失去了吸收知識的機會，亦摧毀了可以離開貧窮生活的夢想。 因著新冠疫情在村落進一步惡化，許多父母都失業，撫養孩子變得更加困難。為了孩子們能夠繼續學習，我們計劃下月開始，實行網上教學，僱用城市的語文老師，為孩子提供高棉文同英語課程。 我們會先試辦20個村落青少年，為他們添置文具、書本、手提電話、上網等裝備，而城市老師亦會為他們作技術支援。 一個嶄新的嘗試，希望運作順利後，可以在Chrey Khangchoeurng村落的小學校，開設更好的網上學校設施，讓更多孩子重拾學習的樂趣。 我們初步預算USD$3955開始這項維期六個月的網上學習計劃. 20個村落孩子(6個月費用): 手提電話及網上裝置 USD$3200 書本及文具 USD$620 老師書本及網上裝置 USD$135 我們歡迎香港的朋友參與這項計劃, 成為村落青少年的網上老師, 你們可以自定時間教授英文或其他語言或技能, 讓他們有更多的學習機會, 亙相交流文化. 如想資助<柬童網上助學計劃>，可以電郵buddiesforlifehk@gmail.com或留言回覆通知。 捐款滿$100或以上可憑收據扣減稅項。 施比受更為有福！❤️
