About the organisation
財團法人千佛山慈善基金會成立於民國八十二年九月，由一群秉承佛教「慈悲」精神、熱心慈善助人的菩薩大德們，為響應白雲老禪師的濟世大悲宏願，共同捐資籌組完成。 創會之初，雲老禪師時時刻刻殷切叮嚀：「這個基金會，是為雪中送炭而創立的，我們要做人家不願意做的，做人家忽略的，做人家看不到的。」基金會要集合所有善心人士的力量，來達成佛陀慈悲喜捨的教誨。因此，十多年來我們堅持從最基層的訪視工作做起，從災難的救助著手，幫助低收家庭、獨居老人、清寒學子、身心障礙團體以及災變傷亡的受災戶。
