About the organisation

教會歷史 基督中心堂 和 香港海外神學院 是曾霖芳牧師於1966年秋天所創立。蒙神恩典， 香港海外神學院辦學歷30載；而教會事工更一直延續至今。隨著曾牧師的帶領，到李苓牧師，再到後來各堂獨立，共發展至四個堂會、六個聚會地區。其中實在有很多神的作為和恩典，是不能忘記的。因此，在此願將神的恩惠與大家共同分享，以求一切榮耀頌讚歸給祂！ 從過去神在教會中的所施行的帶領和作為所見，讓我們認識到「 基督中心堂 」這教會，是一間： 1.宣講神話語的教會：相信聖經每一句都是神的話，不是人的話，都是真實的。人最大的需要是神的話，神的道使人能行在祂的正道中。 2.單憑信心的教會：憑單純的信心開展神的工作，並仰賴祂的供應。多年來沒有宣傳或募捐。 3.重視傳福音和栽培的教會：從1968年始，教會的祈禱查經班、主日學、交通會、夏令會等培靈聚會都沒有終斷過，為的是要叫弟兄姊妹在靈性和真理上都有根基和成長。 4.強調生活力行的教會：對照初期教會敬虔的簡樸生活，我們講求的不是外表的裝璜、禮儀等，更追求的是在生活上有神的同在、同工、同行。
