宗旨本協會成立的宗旨有以下三方面： 1. 實踐耶穌基督的大使命。 2. 推動不同文化、不同國界的福音事工。 3. 關心並支持本地的福音機構。 功能 本協會將致力於以下幾方面： 鼓勵會眾為全世界福音事工和我們的宣教士代禱。 教育並激發會眾對普世差傳的關懷。 激勵、招募和差遣差傳獻身的人。 建立並審核一個教會應該支持的宣教士、基督教機構和當地事工的清單。 建立一個差傳預算並處理籌募奉獻的計劃。 作為教會與有關差傳及服務組織、機構及宣教士聯繫。 照顧述職中的宣教士。 修訂差傳政策。
