About the organisation
香港中文大學校友慈善基金根據香港公司條例(第622章)在2016年3月2日註冊的擔保有限公司，已獲香港稅務局批准為免稅慈善團體享受免稅優惠並受稅局監管，增強公信力。此外，基金董事均由中大校友出任，並邀請兩位中大教授出任獨立董事，除增強透明度和起制衡外，亦可聽取獨立意見，另外，基金採用良好管治守則操作並以廉政公署編制的 Governance and Internal Control in Non-Governmental Organizations作指引，希望能： - 推動中大人回饋母校和社會的精神 - 致力促成具意義計劃所需資源配對 - 鼓勵公益慈善捐獻，包括專業,時間和資金 我們的使命 承續中大人關懷社會、扶助弱勢的精神，凝聚力量推動公益慈善服務；聚沙成塔、厚德載物
