About the organisation
香港糖尿聯會成立於一九九六年九月，是香港政府註冊慈善組織。我們的宗旨是為糖尿病患者服務，促進各界人士對糖尿病的認識和關注，以期加強糖尿病的預防和治理。 聯會的工作目標，大致分為以下幾點： • 推廣糖尿病相關知識 • 支援糖尿病患者及其家人 • 培訓醫護人員 • 為糖尿病患者作喉舌，爭取社會的關心及尊重 • 聯繫本地及國際糖尿組織，促進學術及臨床經驗的交流 • 鼓勵糖尿病之研究工作，提高醫療水平
