About the organisation
鳳溪公立學校創立於一九三二年，從廖族假祖祠辦學，到先賢讓地捐獻建校，至今開辦六所政府資助學校，充分體現廖族重視教育、培德育才的傳統。 本校自二零零七年起與Microsoft伙伴合作，在電子學習領域及科學普及教育方面，已確立了領先的地位，中外各地來訪者眾，口碑甚佳。近年各國盛行STEM教育，香港教育局獲香港賽馬會慈善信託基金贊助，開辦了由美國麻省理工學院、香港城市大學及香港教育大學的專家策劃的「運算思維」小學編程計劃，鳳溪第一小學及鳳溪創新小學年內同獲選爲該計劃的先導學校。 為推動學生體育運動的全面發展，除攀樹隊、射箭隊、高爾夫球班相繼成立外，鳳溪的泳池興建督導委員會，亦積極策劃在優美的校園內添建一所全天候游泳館，讓鳳溪泳運能與鳳溪田徑，並駕齊驅。該計劃目前進展順利，期望可盡快落實。
