About the organisation
Established in 1929, Fung Ying Seen Koon is a prominent Taoist temple in Hong Kong belonging to the Quanzhen Longmen sect. Guided by its mission to 'promote Taoism, establish virtues, help the world, and save people,' the organization actively engages in religious, cultural, and charitable activities. It serves the community by providing a venue for worship and spiritual practice, offering services like ancestral rites and columbarium facilities, and promoting Taoist culture through various educational initiatives.
Mission
In response to the evergrowing needs of the community, it actively participates in the activities of charity, chinese medication, social welfare and education, apart from focusing on preaching Taoism. It is now a tax exempted charitable institution incorporated under the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance.
