About the organisation
Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power is formed in 1995. We are registered Non-Government Organisation in Rehabilitation Service. Back then, our service target was mainly focused on physically handicapped persons. As the organization develops, we expanded our service toward the deaf persons, chronic patients and ex-mentally ill persons. We always strive to optimise the Hong Kong Government’s Policy in Rehabilitation, and to push forward the final goal of having a Barrier-Free Hong Kong. For our organisation we aim to promote the concept of inspiring disables to develop confidence and ability in self-dependent; over seventy percent of our full-time staffs are persons with disabilities.

To empower people with disabilities to become financially self-sufficient, live independently, and blend into all walks of life.

本會全體同仁謹以無比沉痛之心情，深切悼念本會董事曹建華先生。 曹建華先生已於2026年6月5日辭世，本會聞訊，深感哀慟與惋惜。曹先生生前一直全力支持本會各項工作，秉持服務社群、關懷殘疾人士之宗旨，與本會並肩同行，貢獻卓著。 曹先生長期致力推動殘疾人士發展藝術事業，堅守信念，不遺餘力，對提升殘疾人士生活質素作出深遠而重要之貢獻。其遠見卓識與無私奉獻，對本會之持續發展影響深遠，亦為社會樹立良好典範。 曹建華先生仁心厚德，風範長存。本會同仁對其辭世深表哀悼與懷念，並將銘記其貢獻，承其遺志，繼續致力推動相關服務，以延續其關懷社會之精神。 謹此致以最深切之哀悼，並向其家人致以誠摯慰問。
