About the organisation
Hong Kong Tuberculosis, Chest and Heart Diseases Association was established in 1948 to promote the preventive measures against TB, chest and heart diseases, we support Hospital Authority in managing Ruttonjee & Tang Shiu Kin Hospitals and Grantham Hospital. We also run Elderly Home, Health Centre, Chinese Medicine Clinics and Oral Health Services.
Mission
(1) To promote, encourage or undertake research and experimental work on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and any other aspects of the diseases and malfunction of the chest, heart and lung; (2) to establish, maintain, support or operate homes for aged; (3) to provide rehabilitation and medical treatment for those suffering or have suffered from such diseases; (4) to support the Hospital Authority in the management and development of the Ruttonjee Hospital and the Grantham Hospital; and (4) to response and support the policy of the Government in fields of health promotion and medical treatment.
