About the organisation
Founded in 1997 by a group of enthusiastic volunteers, Hong Kong Wheelchair Aid Service (HKWAS) provides support services for people with disabilities, their caregivers, and others in need. The organisation offers a wide range of services, including the repair and short-term rental of walking aids, as well as educational and community programmes. HKWAS is committed to assisting individuals with disabilities, promoting a barrier-free society, and improving the quality of life for its service users.
